The Department of Biological Sciences, IISER – Kolkata offers a state-of-the-art imaging facility that comprises of a Zeiss LSM 710 confocal microscope, an Olympus IX81epifluoresence microscope with a motorized stage and SZX16 stereo microscope with fluorescence attachment. Besides the routine imaging, this facility is extensively used for live cell imaging. This facility is available for researchers of IISER – Kolkata and they also provide hands-on training in imaging techniques to the undergraduate and graduate students.
