Apart from cutting edge research, the faculty members of the department are also involved in extensive undergraduate and graduate teaching programs with the aim of developing high quality human resources.
We offer a wide array of courses to the BS-MS, Integrated PhD (IPhD) and the PhD students. The courses are designed to cover the entire field of modern biology. In addition, the students have unique opportunity to participate in the research projects under the mentorship of a faculty. The research and teaching activities of the department are supported by state-of-the-art laboratory, instruments and class room facilities.
