Research
Cell Molecular Biology : Dynamics and regulation of Actin Cytoskeleton:
Our main Research interest is the role of actin cytoskeleton regulation in development and disease:
1.Expression and functional characterization of formin family of proteins.
2.Molecular mechanisms of regulation of Daam1 activity by Dishevelled/RhoA.
3.Characterization of novel Formin binding proteins.
4.Isolation and characterization of novel actin binding proteins.
5.Role of formin in neurite outgrowth and synaptogenesis.
Our approaches are various: use invitro and invio technique of molecular biology, cell biology, protein biochemistry
and primary neuron culture to address the above research problems.

Teaching
I teach Biochemistry, Cell Biology theory courses along with various other laboratory courses.
